JOB OPENING: HELP Ministries Program Manager (Full-Time)

HELP Ministries, a program of Christian Churches United, is accepting applications for a Full-Time Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the program. HELP Ministries provides a continuum of services to households dealing with homelessness or financial crisis including shelter placement, rent assistance, utility assistance, and other basic need services. It is a non-sectarian program with a diverse staff team that provides essential services in the capital region. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of non-profit program management experience, experience managing publicly-funded grant programs, and a proven track record of supporting people from diverse cultures and economic conditions. This is a salaried position with a comprehensive benefit package. EOE

JOB OPENING: Community Mobilization Coordinator (Part-Time)

Christian Churches United (CCU) is accepting applications for a part time Community Mobilization Coordinator (20 hrs/week). The purpose of this position is to coordinate the recruitment, training, support and recordkeeping of volunteers in order to enhance and expand the effectiveness of CCU’s programs. Qualifications include at least two years of volunteer coordination or related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience in working with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, socio-economic and theological backgrounds. JOB OPENING: Supportive Services Assistant at Susquehanna Harbor Safe Haven (Part-Time)

Susquehanna Harbor Safe Haven, a program of Christian Churches United, is accepting applications for Part Time Supportive Services Assistants. These individuals provide monitoring and support in a residential environment for men with a mental health diagnosis who have formerly been homeless. Current openings include 2nd and 3rd shift positions averaging 16 - 24 hours/week. Human services experience or an Associates degree in a human services-related field is required. EOE
