JOB OPENING: Street Homeless Case Manager (Full-Time)

HELP Ministries, a program of Christian Churches United, is accepting applications for a Full-Time Street Homeless Case Manager to support homeless individuals in finding and maintaining permanent housing.  This support includes both providing case management to clients as well as developing relationships with landlords to increase housing opportunities. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in social work or other human service field and two years’ work experience (or equivalent years of human service experience), experience working with individuals dealing with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges, and a self-starter with the ability to use technology to track client data and outcomes.  This position is a mobile position and applicants must be comfortable working in a variety of environments including on the streets, in shelters and other public places.    

This is an hourly position averaging at least 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility needed to work some evening hours.  The position includes a comprehensive benefit package. Please submit letter of interest and resume to Leah Payne, HELP Ministries Program Manager, at lpayne@ccuhbg.org.


JOB OPENING: Homeless Prevention Case Manager

HELP Ministries, a program of Christian Churches United, is accepting applications for a Full-Time Homeless Prevention Case Manager to assist individuals at-risk of homelessness to access services in order to help them avoid homelessness, and to serve as the primary staff member providing intake, assessment, and case management services for the Emergency Solutions Grant Homeless Prevention Program.  

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in social work or other human service field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of one years’ work experience in case management or direct service developing goal plans with clients. Experience helping individuals overcome barriers to stable housing or employment. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, including crisis/conflict management skills and ability to articulate well with both clients and stakeholders. Experience using computer software/databases to track client outcomes and comfort using technology to both communicate and document all work. 

This is an hourly position averaging at least 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility needed to work some evening hours.  Acceptable criminal background and child abuse history checks required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation. The position includes a comprehensive benefit package.
