Who We Are
Section #2: CHURCH INFORMATION(Please help keep our records up to date by providing up-to-date information)
DELEGATES: Member congregations are asked to name one to three delegates to CCU’s Governing Assembly, with the goal that AT LEAST one will attend an annual Governing Assembly meeting, normally held in the spring of each year. (Pastors may be selected.)
Section #3: COMMITMENT OF SUPPORT FOR 2019Your congregation’s financial, volunteer and prayer support of our programs is vital for our efforts to assist those facing poverty, homelessness or incarceration to make strides on their journey of healing toward greater stability and self-sufficiency. Regarding financial support, the following is from CCU’s constitution: “Member congregations shall submit a pledge for their fair share contribution before the beginning of the fiscal year so that budgetary priorities may be established.”
* We do not dictate the amount of support per congregation as we know each congregation is unique. For point of reference, in recent years our member congregations have contributed anywhere from $100 to $15,000 annually as partners funding this vital work. Churches are never listed in public reports, newsletter or websites in ways that individually or by grouping identify the amount given.
